Flow on the Street: Carlo

Words by: HNL Flow Staff / Photos by: Jason Perez

Jason, a Hawaii college student hailing from California, has been frequenting more local events lately. His first event to cover for HNL Flow was Art + Flea’s Sunday Sunday Market in September, followed by Eat the Street: Oktoberfest. Since then, Jason has learned more about the city around him.

Most recently, he volunteered to cover the Art + Flea Find Art event at Hawaii State Art Museum in Downtown Honolulu, alongside fellow photographer Jenny Paleracio. During his time there, he encountered an unfamiliar face – who is actually a familiar face to HNL Flow!

Carlo Aguilar is the marketing manager for HiDose, an up-and-coming lifestyle brand that launched in July (Fact: HiDose was one of our 20 vendors at the Flow Show in August).

Jason and Carlo conversed for a while, about HiDose and about HNL Flow, before Jason continued to take photos of the event.

“He told me about the company and what it means,” Jason said. “The ‘Hi’ in ‘HiDose’ stands for both Hawaii and what makes you high on life, what motivates you.”

We hope to learn more about HiDose and its crew in a future blog post!
