Flow on the Street: Ryosuke

Words by: HNL Flow Staff / Photos by: Jenny Paleracio

Have you ever found someone so intriguing that you wanted to strike up a conversation with them and go beyond the question of, “Who are you?”, but were too hesitant to do so?

Recently, head photographer Brittany Reis asked our photography team to do a small side experiment to get a feel of portrait photography. They were asked to approach random strangers – people they did not know – and talk story with them.

One of our photographers, Jenny Paleracio, decided to transform this assignment into a weekly project called “Strangers on the Street,” where she features another young person that she meets while traveling around town.

Her first feature is Ryosuke, a college student from Japan that she encountered one day after school. A few other facts that she learned about Ryosuke was that he was a Marketing major and has a love for music, especially Japanese music.
Be sure to catch our photographers’ posts every Wednesday on our blog!
